Lights, camera, action! This exciting, hands-on 5-day filmmaking course is designed to immerse young creatives (ages 7–16) in the full world of cinema. Whether they’re passionate about acting, writing, directing, or editing, students will gain real industry insights and work collaboratively to produce their own original short film—from first idea to final screening!
Course Highlights:
Day 1: Introduction to Filmmaking & Story Development
Students are introduced to the filmmaking process and what it takes to bring a story to life. Through fun, creative exercises, they'll brainstorm ideas, develop characters, and begin shaping a compelling story as a team.

Day 2: Scriptwriting & Pre-Production
With their story locked in, students will write their script and learn about pre-production essentials—storyboarding, planning shots, assigning roles, and preparing for filming.

Day 3: Acting & Directing for Camera
Time to step on set! Students will explore screen acting techniques, learn how to direct actors, and rehearse scenes. They'll begin filming key parts of their script under the guidance of a professional filmmaker.

Day 4: Filming & Production
The cameras keep rolling! Students continue filming their short film, working in crews to manage lighting, sound, and camera angles. They’ll begin capturing all the footage needed for the final cut.

Day 5: Editing & Final Screening Prep
Students dive into the post-production process—editing their footage, adding music and sound effects, and polishing their film. The day ends with a celebratory cinema screening where families are invited to watch the final product!
